Why we were requiring a minimum on our weddings

Simple....to not overwork ourselves and to offer brides something unique, to be our only bride on that one day, to ensure quality service without being strenghed too thin.
So we were doing 80 plus weddings the first two years after I had my son.
It was just too much. It is a lot of work to manage 80 brides that are all unique and have individual needs. We decided to slow the business down some and the only way I knew how was to have a minimum. It has nothing to do with preference of brides or "being too expensive".
Having a minimum doesn't make me more expensive than others. Having a minimum was not different than a photographers package prices or a venues required fee to book that venue.
I require my brides to really want my services and want a really fabulous wedding.
At some point I will probably require a minimum again to allow me to
control the number of weddings we book.
